WINFOR at the Canton Fair for the 14th Time: Pickup Bed Mods, OEM/ODM in Demand

April 2018: WINFOR exhibited at the 123rd Canton Fair in Guangzhou for its 14th appearance, with buyers in droves crowding our pickup bed booth for OEM and ODM tonneau cover enquiries.
The 123rd China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was held in Guangzhou from 15 April to 5 May 2018. The session covered 1.185 million square metres of exhibition space, 60,475 booths and 25,171 exhibitors from China and abroad. Founded in 1957, the Canton Fair remains China's longest-running and most comprehensive international trade event, and the one with the highest density of overseas buyers.
This is WINFOR's 14th appearance at the Canton Fair — since first exhibiting in 2011, WINFOR has not missed a single spring or autumn session.
Phase 1 (15–19 April) covered electronics and appliances, lighting, vehicles and accessories, machinery, hardware, building materials, chemicals and energy — and that is where WINFOR exhibited. 2018 was our 14th appearance at the fair. As a Chinese source factory for pickup bed systems, the Canton Fair has always been our first stop on the way from the factory to buyers worldwide.
By the third day of the show, buyers were queueing at our stand. Enquiries from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America and Africa centred on our tonneau covers, tailgate buffers and roller shutters. OEM private-label and ODM customisation discussions ran alongside the samples: modified dimensions, materials and surface finishes were specified against each buyer's own requirements, and orders were closed on the spot. The display drew enormous interest.
The stand carried the full WINFOR range for pickup bed systems: established tonneau covers, multi-function bed covers, quad-fold covers and tailgate buffers built for volume and durability, alongside the higher-value electric roller shutter and smart electric step bar with remote control, anti-pinch safety and IP67 sealing. Having everything on a single stand meant buyers could specify a complete pickup bed system in one visit, private-label and custom programmes included.
WINFOR is a China-based auto parts manufacturer: a pickup truck accessories manufacturer, a tonneau cover factory and a pickup bed cover supplier for brands and distributors worldwide. In-house we run the electric retractable tonneau cover manufacturer line, the aluminum roller shutter cover factory and an ODM pickup accessories programme developed to each buyer's own specification. We are an OEM auto parts supplier for brands selling under their own name, a private label auto parts manufacturer taking the job from tooling through to packing, and a source for Ford Ranger accessories manufacturer programmes alongside the other mainstream pickup platforms. Everything is produced under an IATF 16949 auto parts manufacturer quality system.

In 2018 WINFOR completed an upgrade to IATF 16949:2016 quality management certification and brought in large laser cutting and laser welding equipment to build its own flexible manufacturing line. That shift from job-shop work to flexible production is exactly what shortened the sampling cycle for ODM custom programmes — and the samples on the stand came off that new line.
